Intercity Shopping Centre is proud to be a part of Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario as a retail property management leader, an economic engine and a corporate citizen. As part of our commitment, we’re a strong supporter of the region’s non-profit groups and charities and offer designated areas for events, programs, activities and fundraisers.
Requests will be accepted throughout the year. Please provide as much lead-time as possible. Our Marketing Director or their representatives will notify applicants of the status of their application following review.
Who's eligible to use the charitable areas?
Organizations must be an incorporated non-profit group or a registered charity.
What is included with the charitable location?
We will provide one skirted table. Each group must bring in chairs.
How frequently can a group use the charitable locations?
A group can apply twice a year for a minimum visit of three days and a maximum visit of seven days. Due to the busy holiday season, we don’t host groups during November and December.
What is the application process?
Space is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. A detailed request form including a Liability Insurance Certificate must be submitted prior to the requested dates. Please provide as much lead-time as possible.
Are there administration fees?
There is a $20 non-refundable fee for each visit. The fee for bringing in any type of vehicle is $40. An extra fee applies for any additional table.
How does a group apply?
For consideration for a visit, please submit the Community and Non-Profit Group Display Space Request Package. Applications must be received with as much lead time as possible prior to the date your group wishes to be at Intercity Shopping Centre.

Before filling out a Community and Non-Profit Group Display Space Request Package, phone the Customer Service Centre at 623-6646 to check the availability of dates. After your group has put dates on hold for consideration of a visit, please submit the Request Package. Applications must be received with as much lead time as possible prior to the date your group wishes to be at Intercity Shopping Centre.
